How Summer Came Early

It’s only February, but if you open your eyes and are aware of things you can already see summer sneaking up. I sit in front of the window and I notice how its not even the end of the month of February  and the trees already have a head of leaves upon them. Along the freeways and roads you can spot the buddings of The Texas Bluebonnets. Bluebonnets are supposed to be in bloom at the end of March and beginning of April, but it has been getting much hotter much earlier for the past few years in Texas. Why is it that its been getting so  hot so fast and early? The rise in temperature is outrageous and alarming.  The fact that yesterday, February 24th, 2017, was 90 degrees. If yesterday reached 90 degrees then how far is the temperature going to reach in July or August? The only explanation for the rise in temperature is that global warming is real and is occurring. It is very sad to think that on day there might not be snow because the ozone is so deteriorated.  Yes, bluebonnets in February might be beautiful, but that is a result from the very ugly thing, pollution. Pollution of our air, land, and water is creating these extremely hot springs and summers. Changes need to happen and they need to happen quickly because at this rate my grandchildren won’t ever get to go outside and play in the snow.
